VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 8, 2011) - INTEGRA GOLD CORP. (TSX VENTURE:ICG) (The "Company") is pleased to announce results from its recently completed drill program on the Forestel Zone at its Lamaque Property, located in Val-d'Or Quebec. A total of 4,356 meters in 14 drill holes were completed on the Forestel Zone in 2010, all encountering high grade gold.

To further define the zone and for purposes of the upcoming resource calculation, 6 additional diamond drills holes (1,235 metres) were completed in January of 2011 and assays are pending. The Forestel portion of the upcoming NI 43-101 resource estimate expected in Q2, 2011, will include the 6 holes drilled in January, 2011 (1,235 metres), 14 holes drilled in 2010 (4,356 m) and 23 past drill holes (6,616.69), 43 holes in total.

FORESTEL ZONE

The present drill program on the Forestel Zone was undertaken in part to validate previous drill programs conducted between 2003 and 2008 and to test zone extensions. A resource calculation is in process with the additional definition drilling program (2011) being used to verify and explore for vertical and horizontal vein clusters and network model permitting significant resource increases if conclusive.

The majority of the gold vein clusters making significant volumes of mineralization are located between the surface and the 150 meter depth level. These mineralized zones would be easily accessible from the surface.

The significant zones of gold mineralization known on the Lamaque Property comprise various simple vein structures, vein complexes and stockwork zones. These include: No. 4 Plug; No. 5 Plug; No. 35 Shear; North Shear systems located north of the No. 5 Plug; Parallel Veins Zone (includes Vein No. 10); No. 1 vein in the No. 3 Mine area; No. 6 vein; Sixteen Zone; Forestel Zone and Triangle Zone. The gold resources are contained in two deposits named the No 4. Plug and No. 10 vein (Parallel Zone). The Forestel Zone, the No.6 vein, the No.1 vein in the No.3 Mine, and the Triangle zone were not included in the 2004 resource calculation.

HISTORIC DRILL CORE

Re-sampling of historic drill core is ongoing with assay results from 18,968 of the 26,325 metres of the re-sampled core having been received. At the same time re-sampling is being completed; we are validating, correcting and upgrading the historical database (approximately 424 drill holes, 200 of which are old surface holes). These projects will provide the Company and its technical group a better understanding of the potential of the Lamaque Property. It should be noted that several drill holes have not yet compiled and digitalized, particularly the No 4 Plug, No 6 vein, No 3 Shaft and Zone, No 4 and 7 veins and Mylamaque Zone.

QUALITY ASSURANCE - QUALITY CONTROL

Thorough quality assurance and quality control program (QA/QC) protocol was utilized on the project including duplicate, blank and standard samples for all the holes. The core samples were respectively submitted directly to ALS Laboratory Group and Bourlamaque Labs in Val-d'Or for preparation and analysis. Analysis was conducted on 1 assay ton samples. Analysis of gold was by fire assay, with a gravimetric finish on samples exceeding 5 g/t gold. The gravimetric assay results were used for the reported composite intervals. The Lamaque project exploration is under the direct supervision of Alain Beauregard, P.Geol. of Geologica Inc., an independent qualified person as designated by National Instrument 43-101 who has reviewed the technical content of this release.

THE LAMAQUE PROPERTY

The Lamaque property is immediately adjacent to both the Sigma and Lamaque mines, which have produced approximately 9 million ounces of gold. The 2010 drilling campaign was initiated to expand the existing 43-101, inferred resource estimate (2004) at the Lamaque property: 375,375 gold ounces (1,238,308 tonne at 9.43 g/t gold).

The Lamaque property is underlain principally by steeply dipping east-west striking volcanic flows intruded by a variety of felsic to mafic plugs, dykes and sills. Because of their intimate spatial association with most of the known gold mineralization, the felsic to mafic intrusions, locally mostly granodiorite and sills that intrude the Val-d'Or Formation are of particular importance. The mineralized zones are mesothermal structurally controlled deposits, which are typical of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt and abundant in other Archean greenstone belts around the world.

The gold bearing quartz-tourmaline veins are late and cut all rock-types including irregular intrusive (diorite) bodies, which are affected by regional deformation and greenschist grade metamorphism. Two principal types of veins occur at the Lamaque Mine and on the property: sub-vertical and sub-horizontal veins. The subvertical veins are occurring within steeply dipping east-west trending ductile shear zones where reverse subvertical displacements have taken place. The veins occupy openings created by irregularities during progressive moment within the shears. Sub-horizontal veins occupy extensional fractures, which formed between ductile shear zones, preferentially in the more competent host rocks.
