Integra Gold Corp: New Gold Discovery at Lamaque Project, Val d'Or Quebec

-- SV 10-04 Intersects 23.00 G/T Gold Over 1.43 Meters

-- Five of First Eight Holes Drilled on the Sigma Zone Intersected Significant Gold Mineralization

-- 2011 Drill Program Expanded to Include an Additional 3,000 Meters on Sigma Zone

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 3, 2011) - INTEGRA GOLD CORP. (TSX VENTURE:ICG) (the "Company") is pleased to announce the discovery of significant gold mineralization not contained within any of the known zones on its Lamaque project, and less than 10 meters from the property line of Century Mining Corp's Lamaque Project. Approximately 2500 meters in 8 drill holes were completed at the Sigma Zone in 2010. This is the first new zone discovered on the project since the Triangle Zone was drilled in 2006-2007 and affirms the Company's strategy of notonly drilling known zones to upgrade and expand existing resources but also the value of continuing to explore the project for new areas of mineralization.

"Drilling continues to intersect mineralized zones in new locations confirming that our property has highly prospective qualities. This latest discovery, the Sigma Zone, in close proximity to our neighbour Century Mining currently reporting 5.55 million ounces of gold in resources and reserves, further validates our current program," said John de Jong, CEO and President. "We anticipate making additional discoveries this year as we move further along in our recently announced 20,000 meter drill program."

SIGMA EXTENSION ZONE DISCOVERY

Century Mining Corp., located adjacent and directly north of the Integra Gold's Lamaque property, recently made public the presence of auriferous veins located immediately west of the central northern part of the Integra Gold's Lamaque property. As the gold structures appeared to extend east onto the Lamaque Project property Integra made it a priority to determine the extent of these veins through a drill program completed in autumn-winter 2010. A total of 8 diamond drill holes aimed at these vein extensions have intersected the east-west striking structures, 5 of which returned significant and encouraging gold intersections. The quartz veins occur as lenses hosted within sheared intermediate to mafic volcanic rocks and could correspond to the "Highway and/or No. 35 Shears."

The Company has designed a 2011 follow-up drill program on the Sigma Zone which will consist of approximately 3,000 meters distributed over 10 holes, spaced at 100 and locally 50 meters apart in order to confirm the strength and continuity (lateral and depth) of the zone.

QUALITY ASSURANCE - QUALITY CONTROL

Thorough quality assurance and quality control program (QA/QC) protocol was utilized on the project including duplicate, blank and standard samples for all the holes. The core samples were respectively submitted directly to ALS Laboratory Group and Bourlamaque Labs in Val-d'Or for preparation and analysis. Analysis was conducted on 1 assay ton samples. Analysis of gold was by fire assay, with a gravimetric finish on samples exceeding 5 g/t gold. The gravimetric assay results were used for the reported composite intervals. The Lamaque project exploration is under the direct supervision of Alain Beauregard, P.Geol., Geologica Inc., an independent qualified person as designated by National Instrument 43-101 who has reviewed the technical content of this release.

THE LAMAQUE PROPERTY

The Lamaque property is immediately adjacent to both the Sigma and Lamaque mines, which have produced approximately 9 million ounces of gold. The 2010 drilling campaign was initiated to expand the existing 43-101, inferred resource estimate (2004) at the Lamaque property: 375,375 gold ounces (1,238,308 tonne at 9.43 g/t gold)(WGM, 2004 NI 43-101 report)

The Lamaque property is underlain principally by steeply dipping east-west striking volcanic flows intruded by a variety of felsic to mafic plugs, dykes and sills. The mineralized zones are mesothermal structurally controlled deposits, which are typical of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt and abundant in other Archean greenstone belts around the world.

Two principal types of veins occur at the Lamaque Mine and on the property: sub-vertical and sub-horizontal veins. The veins occupy openings created by irregularities during progressive moment within the shears creating what are known as 'flats' which can be very high grade gold deposits.
