IntegraMed Fertility Launches Attain Fertility Playlist Challenge

Participants Build Baby-Making Playlists to Make Love by and for a Chance to Win a Romantic Getaway for Two

PURCHASE, NY--(Marketwired - May 28, 2013) -  As leaders in the infertility marketplace, IntegraMed® Fertility continues to be innovative in the way they leverage technology to educate and support people facing fertility issues and to reach those who may not know they have fertility issues. The Attain Fertility® Playlist Challenge is their latest initiative. The month-long contest, which begins on May 28, aims to help couples dealing with infertility find a way to get the romance back into their relationships by building playlists of their favorite love songs, and will also provide educational information about fertility issues. With each song submission, users will be entered to win a Grand Prize romantic getaway for two.

"We understand that when couples are going through fertility treatments, the romance can quickly go out of lovemaking, making it feel more like baby-making," said Maureen Gill-Higgins, RN, MSN, WHNP, Director of Clinical Operations, at IntegraMed Fertility. "We wanted to find a fun way to help couples reignite the romance and since everyone has a favorite love song, we developed the Playlist Challenge."

"We know through our market research that 30% of fertility patients wait 2 years or longer before seeing a fertility specialist, which is too long," said Shelly Galvin, IntegraMed Fertility's Director of Communications and Community. "We are always looking for engaging ways to reach couples who are trying to build their family because we know that there is a direct connection between age and infertility. Time is critical, and the sooner a fertility issue is discovered, the sooner it can be treated, leading to much better chances of achieving a successful pregnancy."

How the Attain Fertility Play List Challenge Works

Participants are invited to select as many romance-inducing tracks as they want and with each submission they are entered to win the Grand Prize. In addition to building their own individual playlists, participants can view other participant's playlists, share songs on Facebook and Twitter with their friends, and see which songs of love are trending. Along with the Grand Prize of an all-inclusive getaway for two to Costa Rica, the Playlist Challenge will also have daily Quick Polls that allow players to vote on that day's staff pick song choice. By answering the Quick Poll, they receive another Grand Prize entry and are entered into that day's drawing for a $10 iTunes Gift Card.
