IntelePeer Selected as a Finalist for the 2010 Red Herring 100 North America Award

Finalists Evaluated on Financial Performance, Technology Innovation, Quality of Management and Execution of Strategy

SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwire - June 15, 2010) - IntelePeer Inc., a leader in the delivery of communications via cloud-based infrastructure, today announced it has been selected as a finalist for Red Herring's North America 100 Award, a prestigious list honoring the year's most promising private technology ventures from the North American business region.

The Red Herring editorial team selected the most innovative companies from across North America. The nominees are evaluated on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technology innovation, quality of management, execution of strategy, and integration into their respective industries.

"This recognition from Red Herring affirms our success in delivering next-generation communications services that are transforming the telecommunications industry," said Frank Fawzi, chairman and CEO of IntelePeer. "Our unique infrastructure, SuperRegistry and development platform provide a critical advantage for our customers and create new ways for businesses to drive revenue growth, while reducing telecommunications costs."

IntelePeer offers a global peering network that is carrying more than 13 billion voice minutes this year, and a SuperRegistry with more than 349 million numbers to handle call routing and match services to device capabilities and user preferences. The company also provides the IntelePeer AppworX Open Communications Platform, which allows developers to create voice applications delivered through IntelePeer's cloud-based infrastructure using the same language that forms the foundation of the Web.

"This year was especially difficult," said Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring. "Despite the global economic situation, there were so many great companies producing really innovative and amazing products that we had a difficult time narrowing the pool and selecting the finalists. IntelePeer shows great promise and therefore deserves to be among the finalists (www.herring100.com/RHNA2010/2010finalists/2010finalists.html). Now we're faced with the difficult task of selecting the Top 100 winners of the Red Herring North America Award. We know that this year's crop will grow into some amazing companies that are sure to go far."

The Top 100 winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony on June 24 at the Red Herring North America Conference in San Diego.
