Intellitar Brings Digital Cloning to Social Networks

Intellitar for Social Networks Debuts on MySpace With Functionality Planned for Additional Networks by Year End

HUNTSVILLE, AL--(Marketwire - Jun 21, 2011) - Intellitar, the developer of the Intelligent Avatar Platform and Virtual Eternity, today announced the release of Intellitar for Social Networks which allows users on popular social network sites to create and deploy their own digital clone, or intellitar, on their profile page or a separate personal page. Once you've deployed an intellitar to your page, visitors can interact with your clone in a conversational manner by asking and responding to specific questions and comments.

The cloning application is available today on MySpace. The ability to publish to different social networks, such as Facebook and Orkut, will follow by year end.

Intellitar for Social Networks gives users the ability to publish the same intellitar on multiple social network sites, personal web sites and interactive online communities. Users can add new content and information to their clone and push new content out to each deployed intellitar instantly. In addition, users can opt to base their clone on their own image, or other facial image.

"When we introduced the ability to clone yourself online less than a year ago, we heard from a vast number of consumers, businesses and industry experts looking for the ability to publish the intellitars out on to existing personal web sites and social networking profiles," says Don Davidson, CEO and co-founder of Intellitar. "We had envisioned intellitars moving into those virtual neighborhoods from the beginning and we're excited that users saw value in that vision."

Intellitars, which were first released in October 2010 via the company's Virtual Eternity web site and then later as part of the Intelligram virtual communication service, are easy to create and train. They provide an easy platform to create and share a narrated digital scrapbook recounting personal experiences and thoughts, as well as a more dynamic way to engage with friends and family via the web. Several vertical markets including education, eCommerce, hospitality, and customer service are testing Intellitar digital cloning technologies for future releases.

About Intellitar:
Intellitar, the creators of the Intelligent Avatar Platform (IAP), allows users to create digital clones that perpetually exist on a wide range of web and mobile platforms. These intellitars, built on the base of a user's image, move, talk, and think just like their creator thereby giving users the gift of immortality. In addition to the fully integrated platform used to create these intelligent avatars, Intellitar is creating specific applications for the intelligent avatars. The first such application, Virtual Eternity is a living scrapbook that makes forever possible by allowing present and future generations to interact with friends and family members in perpetuity via their digital clone.
