Diabetes Educators Offer Health Professionals a Comprehensive Three-Day Program to Help Address the Diabetes Epidemic

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - December 17, 2015) - Kinghooper Diabetes Education, an organization dedicated to diabetes care education, is offering a three-day course about the complexities of diabetes care for health professionals.

The Becoming a Diabetes Educator course, now in its 10th year, takes place at the University of California San Francisco, January 29-31, 2016. The course is co-sponsored by the University of California San Francisco, School of Nursing. "Any health professional looking for a comprehensive update, or preparing for the Certified Diabetes Educator examination, will find this course valuable. It's appropriate for nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, or anyone caring for people with diabetes," stated Maureen McGrath, Associate Professor in the Department of Family Health Care Nursing at UCSF. The program is eligible for 24 contact hours of Continuing Education credit.
