Interact-TV Names Ron Perkes as Vice-President of Sales and Marketing

WESTMINSTER, CO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 20, 2006 -- Interact-TV™ (OTC: ITVI), a leading developer of Linux-based home entertainment servers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ron Perkes as Vice-President of Sales and Marketing.

Ron Perkes developed and patented the industry's first interactive Digital Television in 1996 for NetTV where he founded and became CEO of that company. During his tenure he designed then sold the first line of Digital Televisions in the United States of which the company sold 40,000 units. In 1997, four years prior to the advent of XP Media Center, he designed a series of Home Media Computers, a powerful media operating software solution. He is listed as the inventor on 9 patents he authored.

In 1992 Ron was a co-founder and served as VP of Technology for, California's very first regional Internet Service Provider. He participated in architecting and building the company's Network Operating Center in San Francisco, creating an infrastructure that handled 15,000 regional subscribers prior to the introduction of Netscape or Internet Explorer.

In 1988 Ron co-founded Tangent Computer, serving as the Company's Vice President of Research and Development. In a six year period starting in 1989 he designed eight systems that won the prestigious PC Magazine Editor's Choice award, each on creating a windfall of business, and a total of twenty major industry awards, with each one propelling revenues that peaked at $155 million. Also noteworthy was his development of the first commercially available RAID-based file server in 1990 which debuted in PC Week in January 1991, successfully positioning Tangent into the server and network services business overnight.

Ron currently serves on the Board of Directors of Tangent and on the advisory board of several companies.
