Interbit Data Introduces MOXport for Exporting Data to Windows During MEDITECH 6.0 Upgrade

MOXport Allows Users to Export Data From MEDITECH Magic's MOX to Windows Directory at Their Convenience, Freeing Them to Focus on Their 6.0 Implementation

NATICK, MA--(Marketwire - Nov 9, 2011) - Interbit Data, a leading provider of software and services connecting people with information for more efficient healthcare, today introduced MOXport, a utility software product for exporting data from MEDITECH Magic MOX to Microsoft Windows Directory. MOXport assists healthcare facilities that are in the process of transitioning away from MOX as they convert their MEDITECH Healthcare Information System (HCIS) from Magic to 6.0, enabling them to bring patient records and other vital data into the new system quickly and easily. Users can export the data at their convenience, either during the 6.0 implementation or after.

"Customers reported to us how much time they were consuming with moving data and cleaning up MOX during and after their 6.0 conversion," said Arthur Young, president of Interbit Data. "Their feedback spawned the idea for MOXport, a valuable software tool that's flexible and cost-effective. Now, customers can save time with transferring data from MOX to Windows. The transfer process is also simplified, as MOXport allows users to move the data in stages and when it best fits with their 6.0 implementation schedule."

MEDITECH Magic MOX was discontinued with the MEDITECH system's upgrade to Client/Server and 6.0. With MOXport, users can go back to MOX whenever they need or want to over time to complete the removal and transfer of their data to Windows. MOXport is Windows-compatible.
