Interfor Aligns Canadian Leadership to Support Performance and Growth

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - July 19, 2013) - INTERNATIONAL FOREST PRODUCTS LIMITED ("Interfor" or the "Company") (TSX:IFP.A) announced two new Canadian executive positions today to support the Company's performance and growth strategy - Ian Fillinger as Vice President, Canadian Operations, and Otto Schulte as Vice President, Strategic Forestry Initiatives.

These new positions serve to align and strengthen our operations in Canada, similar to the steps we took earlier this month with the appointment of Joe Rodgers as Vice President, US Operations," said Interfor President and CEO Duncan Davies. "Between them, Ian and Otto have invested 58 years in Canada's forest industry - including 32 years with Interfor - and have strong records of achievement. In his new position, Fillinger will assume responsibility for all of Interfor's Canadian operations, with a mandate to drive new levels of integration and performance from those operations. Schulte will work on the Company's behalf with the BC government and other partners on matters affecting the operating and investment climate in the province's forest sector with a goal of increasing opportunities for reinvestment and future growth.

Prior to this appointment, Fillinger was Senior General Manager with responsibility for Interfor's Adams Lake, Coastal Manufacturing and US Southeast operations. Schulte was most recently Vice President, Coastal Operations.
