Interfor Appoints Steven Hofer as Vice-President, Sales & Marketing

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 9, 2011) - INTERNATIONAL FOREST PRODUCTS LIMITED ("Interfor" or the "Company") (TSX:IFP.A) - At its meeting today, Interfor's Board of Directors appointed Steven Hofer to the newly-created position of Vice-President, Sales & Marketing. Hofer's appointment is a key element of the Company's plan to fully leverage its size and product line capabilities and follows the amalgamation of its Cedar and Whitewood marketing groups into a single entity in December. In addition, in the next few months, the Company will be adopting a new, modern identity under a re-designed Interfor brand replacing the existing Interfor, Adams Lake, Interfor Pacific and CedarPrime labels. Hofer, 41, joined Interfor in 2004 and currently serves as General Manager, Sales & Marketing. He will report directly to Interfor's CEO, Duncan Davies.
