Intergraph(R) CAU2013 Express on April 25-26 in Beijing, China to feature CADWorx(R) 3D and 2D, CAESAR II(R) and PV Elite(R)

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - Apr 11, 2013) - Intergraph is hosting a CADWorx & Analysis University (CAU) Express event on April 25 and 26, 2013 in Beijing, China that will include educational tracks on Intergraph CADWorx for AutoCAD-based plant design and CAESAR II and PV Elite for piping and vessel analysis and design.

CADWorx 3D topics include building piping specifications, developing plant models with links to P&IDs, generating isometric drawings, and using point clouds to produce as-built models. The CADWorx 2D track includes developing P&IDs for downstream and information sharing, using P&IDs to eliminate information bottle necks, designing electrical and instrumentation, and creating design and engineering deliverables. CAESAR II pipe analysis topics cover spring supports, interface customization, buried pipe, Palmgren-Miner linear damage rule, stress intensification factors through FEA and ASME B31J, piping vibrations and prevention methods, and static and dynamic seismic analysis.
