Intergraph(R) PV Elite(R) Provides GMMOS With Fast and Accurate Analysis for Pressure Vessel Fabrication Project at U.A.E. Gas Field

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - Jan 30, 2014) - Intergraph has published a new case study that describes how PV Elite helped VASUDA Group's high-end steel fabrication division, Gulf Marine Maintenance & Offshore Service Company (GMMOS), succeed on a large-scale fabrication project for the development of the Shah Gas Field southwest of Abu Dhabi City in the U.A.E. The project includes 31 pressure vessels for multiple purposes and varying sizes with GMMOS providing design, detailed engineering, material procurement, fabrication, inspection, testing, painting, delivery and documentation of the pressure vessels.

Using Intergraph PV Elite, GMMOS produced accurate mechanical strength calculations for large pressure vessels with widely varying requirements.
