Intermap Announces NGA Subscription Purchase of NEXTMap USA Data

DENVER, COLORADO--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 21, 2005) - Intermap Technologies, (TSX:IMP) announced today that its subsidiary Intermap Federal Services Inc. has received a contract from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) for Intermap's NEXTMap USA data. Under the contract, Intermap will provide NGA with NEXTMap USA imagery and elevation map data for regions in Southern California and Alabama. All data is available for immediate delivery. This initial purchase is valued at US$280,000.

"Our NEXTMap USA program is very attractive to our federal government customers," explained Michael Bullock, Intermap's vice president of sales and marketing. "We can provide highly accurate terrain and image data for large regions of the country at a very affordable price. It is our NEXTMap USA program that makes this a reality. Covering a large region in Southern California and the region in Alabama, this data is accurate, consistent and complete and will be valuable in helping to train United States military forces and to protect the United States homeland."

The states of California, Florida and Mississippi are now substantially complete. Large portions of NEXTMap data for these states are currently available and sales in these regions have already begun. Data has also been acquired in Texas, Alabama, West Virginia, Louisiana, Arizona and Michigan.
