Intermec Adds eSP Stay-Linked to Its ISV Partner Program

Formalizes Relationship Between RF/Wireless Device Vendor and Innovative Terminal Emulation/Session Management Software Supplier

TUSTIN, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 26, 2005 -- eBusiness Solution Pros, Inc. (eSP), developers of the award-winning Stay-Linked™ terminal emulation and session management solution, announced today it is now a Registered Partner in Intermec Technologies Corp.'s Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Partner program. The program supports and rewards ISVs that create software applications and tools that extend the powerful computing, communications and data-capture capabilities of Intermec RF/wireless devices.

"We now have a significant number of Intermec wireless integrator partners and their customers who are taking advantage of the many benefits of combining our software solution for wireless terminal emulation and centralized session management with Intermec devices," said Mike Pagani, eSP's vice-president of marketing. "Intermec's decision to add eSP and Stay-Linked to its ISV Partner program demonstrates to our resellers who've standardized on this combined solution -- and to their customers -- that the relationship between us is now a formal one."

eSP's Stay-Linked provides centralized, secure and high-performance RF/wireless access to 5250/3270 and VT100/220 host-based screen applications using a wide range of RF/wireless terminal devices from Intermec and other manufacturers. With Stay-Linked, unlike typical device-side Telnet client products, all terminal emulation and client device/session control runs natively on the application host system where the Telnet server resides, with only a thin-client software component loaded on each wireless terminal device.

The Stay-Linked server process creates and manages host-based Telnet client sessions that are remote-controlled wirelessly via the thin-client software running on the terminal device. The server software running on the host computer preserves user sessions when temporary disruptions in wireless device-to-host access occur; users are automatically returned to their original wireless session as soon as wireless access to the host is restored, and to exactly where they were prior to the disruption. This unique host-based approach to Telnet emulation also allows for centralized session management at the help desk, which is provided with Stay-Linked's integrated Administrator GUI console. Centrally deployed IT staff can view, control and share remote user sessions in real time.

"As a wireless integrator and Intermec Honors Partner, we view the Stay-Linked product as an integral part of our solution offering to our customers," said Michael Gillette, vice president of Troy, Mich.-based G/S Data Solutions (www.gssolutions.com), which implements wireless bar code networks and devices into manufacturing, distribution, and retail environments. "Stay-Linked has a proven track record in our accounts that require a reliable solution for wireless terminal connectivity, security, and session management beyond a traditional device-side emulation product."

Gillette added, "We've had a very successful, long-term relationship with both Intermec and eSP, and we consider them both to be strategic vendors of ours. Therefore, we're very pleased with the news of eSP and Stay-Linked becoming a member of the Intermec ISV program."

Commented Ken Tadkowski, executive vice president at Baltimore-based Barcoding Inc. (www.barcoding.com), an Intermec Honors Partner that helps business and government organizations deploy a wide range of supply chain related technology: "We are a strategic wireless handheld system integrator that places a heavy emphasis on developing total solutions for our customers. As such, we've been very successful at selling the added value of the unique functionality that Stay-Linked software provides when combined with high-quality, dependable wireless devices manufactured by Intermec.

"Intermec adding eSP's Stay-Linked as one of its ISV program members gives our customers -- and us as a system integrator of the combined solution -- the added confidence of knowing that both parties will be aware of each other's advancements in technology moving forward."

Stay-Linked is available from eSP-authorized resellers and marketed through a worldwide channel of Stay-Linked Certified Partners. The software can be obtained via secure online download from eSP's corporate Web site. Stay-Linked installs quickly and easily and is offered fully functional on a no-charge, 30-day evaluation basis.
