Annual Conference Attracts International Attendees From More Than Half a Dozen Countries

SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - September 19, 2007) - WITI (Women in Technology, International), the leading professional organization for tech-savvy women, is proud to announce that its annual "Women and Technology Summit" is receiving a record amount of international traction and registrations. According to organizers, WITI's 13th Annual Conference has grown to incorporate multi-national attendees, based in large part upon the globalization of technology and the workforce.

WITI's "Innovation"-themed Conference has thus far registered women from Argentina, Canada, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Korea, South Africa, and India. The worldwide attendance of this event demonstrates WITI's strong international relevance and interest, as they remain a pioneer of networking organizations for women in technology and related fields.

"The fact that WITI is a global organization is one of the key differentiators from the small regional groups of professional women that have emerged during the last decade," said Carolyn Leighton, Chairwoman/Founder of WITI (Women in Technology International). "Professional women today understand how powerful it is to be globally connected to professional women committed to helping each other succeed."

The "Women and Technology Summit" will be held at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara September 26 - 29, 2007. Group and individual VIP Registrations and tables are available for the conference and Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony and Gala, which will take place at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara on Thursday, September 27 2007 at 6:00 pm, and kick off the "Women and Technology Summit," a three-day professional educational and networking conference.
