International Centre for Health Innovation at the Ivey Business School at Western University to Present Report That Evaluates and Challenges Canada's Timeworn Health System

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Feb. 26, 2014) - Canada's health system is holding onto a dated service sector model of the 80s - "one size fits all". The latest thought paper from International Centre for Health Innovation challenges the current system to catch up with other industries' use of data, evidence and technology in order to meet consumer's demand for more personalized health services. Dr. Anne Snowdon, Academic Chair, of the International Centre for Health Innovation at the Ivey Business School at Western University, will present exciting new research that identifies emerging trends in technology and consumer behaviors that contribute to the increasing demand for a personalized health system.
