International Datacasting Announces Appointment of New CFO

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 2, 2005) - International Datacasting Corporation (TSX:IDC) announced today the appointment of Ms. Susan Robbins Parsons as its new Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary.

Ms Robbins Parsons has many years of experience in corporate senior management--most recently serving as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Services with Kinaxis Corporation headquartered in Kanata, Ontario. She is proficient with both US and Canadian GAAP and holds an MBA from Dalhousie University. Ms. Robbins Parsons was also named one of the Ottawa Business Journal's prestigious "Top Forty under Forty" in 2004.

IDC President & CEO Ron Clifton commented, "We are thrilled to have Susan Robbins Parsons accept our offer to join IDC. Her solid financial and operational experience and strong background in investor relations will be excellent assets as we continue to grow the company. I'm confident that this appointment will further strengthen our Senior Management team and we all look forward to working with her."

Ms. Robbins Parsons will replace Marc Santerre who has decided to leave IDC to join a startup company in Quebec. Ron Clifton continued, "I would also like to thank Marc Santerre for his significant contributions to IDC over the past few years. His colleagues at IDC wish him all the best." (Mr. Santerre will continue with IDC until the end of September to ensure a smooth handoff and transition.)
