International Datacasting Corporation Announces the Appointment of Two New Directors

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 25, 2012) - International Datacasting Corporation (TSX:IDC), a global leader in digital content distribution for the world's premiere broadcasters, announced today that Del Lippert and Georges Ata had been appointed to the Board of Directors, effective immediately. Each of Mr. Lippert and Mr. Ata qualify as independent directors. The Board now consists of six directors made up of Graham McBride, Frank Ruffolo, Del Lippert and Georges Ata (each an independent director) and Adam Adamou and Fred Godard (each a non-independent director).

Mr. Lippert has more than 40 years of successful management experience, spanning a variety of technology firms across North America which included Digital Equipment Corporation and a high growth cellular telephone company. Most recently, Mr. Lippert was President and CEO of Med-Eng Systems (a manufacturer of body protection and electronic counter-measure systems) from 2005 until his retirement in September 2006. Before joining Med-Eng, Mr. Lippert served as President of Commercial Electronics Companies for U.S.-based, Raytheon, a group of companies that had sales in excess of US$850 million and included Raytheon Marine Consumer Products, Raytheon High Seas Commercial Marine Products, ELCAN Optical technologies, Crosspan Network Access technologies, Raytheon Liquid Carbon Dioxide Cleaning Systems, Raytheon Thermal Imaging, Raytheon RF Components, Raytheon Microelectronicss Espana, S.A. and Raytheon Professional Services. Georges Ata, M.B.A., B. Eng., has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Intelcan Technosystems Inc., a Canadian leader in Communications, Navigation, Surveillance (CNS) Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Airport Infrastructure solutions, since July 2008. In 2010, Mr. Ata was recognized as one of Ottawa's Top 40 under 40 by the Ottawa Business Journal and Intelcan received a bronze award as exporter of the year. In 2012, Mr. Ata was awarded the prestigious Arista for the category of Young Entrepreneur of Quebec - Medium and Large Enterprise by the Junior Chamber of Commerce of Montreal.
