International Drug & Explosive Detection Firm IDenta Wins Portuguese Bid -- SDT Electronica / Thomson-CSF Group Delivers IDenta Drug Detection Products to Forefront of the Portuguese War on Drugs

JERUSALEM--(Marketwire - September 9, 2008) - IDenta Corp. (PINKSHEETS: IDTA) announced today that a significant order of IDenta drug control products has been placed by SDT Electronica (SDT), a division of Thomson-CSF Group, the largest defense contractor in Europe. IDenta was informed last Thursday, September 4th, that it had won the bid for drug detectors that will be used by the Portuguese Forensic Police. SDT Electronica has been a long-time major contractor to the Portuguese government providing and coordinating a wide array of homeland security, electronic and defense products and services.

"I wish to thank SDT Electronica for choosing IDenta as a partner in the war on drugs in Portugal," said IDTA CEO Yaacov Shoham. "Once again IDenta drug detectors have proven their superiority over the competition and have opened significant new opportunities for our company in Western Europe." As a result of this first order, Shoham and Baruch Glattstein, the company's Chief Scientist have been invited by SDT Electronica officials to make presentations to numerous legal and law enforcement agencies throughout Portugal starting in October.

In recent years the coasts of Portugal and Spain have become the main entry points for smuggling drugs into Europe from South America. Illegal shipments of drugs such as cocaine and marijuana are dropped off on islands or on the Iberian Peninsula's long coast, then parceled up and distributed by highly organized local drug rings. Both the overall quantity and the average size of drug seizures has been increasing in recent years as drug smugglers continue to search for innovative new ways for get hundreds of millions of dollars of illicit drugs past Spanish and Portuguese legal authorities. SDT Electronica currently supplies the Portuguese Police force with saliva drug abuse detection kits. This initial order of IDenta's products is to deliver 12,480 drug detector kits worth approximately $45,000 USD. A variety of IDenta drug detectors will be included in the shipment. IDenta estimates their orders in Portugal have the potential to reach $200 - $300,000 per year in sales.

"We believe this first contract opens the door for IDenta to reach the same level of success we have achieved in France," concluded Shoham.
