International PBX Ventures Ltd.: Tabaco Oxide Copper Property, Chile-Bulk Test Results

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 11, 2006) - International PBX Ventures Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:PBX) -

The company is pleased to announce the results of its bulk testing of the copper oxide-bearing material from the prior small scale high-grade copper mining at Tabaco. In November the company shipped two truck loads of approximately 10 tonnes each to the public processing plant of ENAMI in Vallenar. The trucked material was obtained by digging a trench through the full length and depth of two (number 3 and 7) of the 9 dumps present in the main area of past mining.

The truck from dump 3 containing 9.8 tonnes graded 1.42 per cent copper and truck dump 7 containing 9.9 tonnes graded 1.6 per cent copper. These results compare very favourably with detailed sampling from a series of pits by company personnel in which number 3 averaged 1.31% copper and dump 7 averaged 1.65% copper.

Company sampling that covered all the dumps indicates that there is at least 5,000 tonnes of broken material grading on average 1.25% copper ready for processing.

All the samples from the sampling program were analysed at the ALS Patagonia Laboratories, Coquimbo, Chile. All grades quoted are for soluble copper.
