International Taoist Tai Chi Society/Saturday: Colourful Parade and Grand Finale of Taoist Temple Opening

Attention: Weekend Assignment Editors - Photo Desk

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Sept. 7, 2007) -

What: Two consecutive colourful events are drawing thousands to GTA this
Saturday:

1. Three days of rituals to dedicate the new Fung Loy Kok Three
Religions Temple located near Orangeville culminate with an
official Grand Opening Ceremony. Delegates from various
congregations and guest priests from several temples have been
chanting all week. And hundreds more will be pulling in overnight
to take part in an eventful weekend -- including 500 Quebecois
Taoist Tai Chi adepts.

2. The International Taoist Tai Chi Society is holding its traditional
Awareness Day Parade through the streets of downtown Toronto...
with banners, floats, marching bands and colourful Tai Chi
Demonstrations etc..... BUT, this year the numbers are expected to
be amazing and the parade should stretch double the usual 10
blocks.

Why: The event is significant - this is a unique place of worship, the
only one of its kind outside of Asia. Stunning images, ancient
traditions, Eastern spirituality... all themes of interest to
readers and viewers.
