International Truck and Engine Corporation Green Diesel Technology'R' by International in Conjunction with ESW Launches TempMax'TM' Exhaust Tube-Catalyst Enabling Technology

WARRENVILLE, ILLINOIS--(CCNMatthews - April 5, 2006) - International Truck and Engine Corporation, the operating company of Navistar International Corporation (NYSE:NAV), announced today that it has in partnership with Environmental Solutions Worldwide, Inc. (ESW) (OTCBB:ESWW), launched a new proprietary diesel engine catalyst enabling technology, targeting the school bus retrofit market.

The new product will be introduced in San Antonio, Texas at International's Parts and Service Expo 2006 on April 10, 2006. TempMax™, created and manufactured by ESW, is a new engine exhaust tube designed to be installed as a direct replacement to the existing Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) factory unit. This tube is located between the engine turbo-charger and the existing muffler.

Currently, retrofitting school buses with high performance Level II(2.) and Level III(3.) catalytic aftertreatment devices is limited by the temperature profile of the engine exhaust at the inlet of the aftertreatment device. This temperature profile is critical in order to sustain the performance of the catalyst in its application. Such exhaust temperature profiles are characterized by the engine duty cycle, operator driving characteristics, or the climate the engine is operating in. Insufficient temperatures cause high performing catalyst technologies to fail prematurely or to be excluded from being used on a larger cross-section of applications.

The products available in the market today to combat this temperature deficiency are either cumbersome reflective blankets or a tube wrapping with insulation strip materials. These low-tech solutions are expensive, provide minimum heat retention, are bulky in design, are difficult to install, and generally lack field durability. In contrast, the TempMax™ is a direct replacement technology, which helps to deliver the maximum heat energy the engine produces with very little temperature loss directly to the aftertreatment device, without resorting to additional external insulation materials. The TempMax™ by design also provides a reduction in exhaust sound, with the added safety feature of maintaining a significantly lower temperature on the tubes outer surface. The TempMax™ is proven to optimize the level of catalytic aftertreatment applied to diesel powered school buses.

"We are initiating distribution of the Green Diesel Technology® products in conjunction with the TempMax™ product with school bus applications as our primary target market and expanding the product line quickly to other vehicles, remarked Carlos Junquera, Director of Parts Sales Support. International Truck and Engine Corporation is the largest engine/school bus OEM in North America with the biggest demographic of buses in service today. The company also provides its engines to a number of third party bus chassis manufacturers. School buses are currently the scope of nationwide catalysts retrofit programs, in an effort to reduce the emissions being emitted into the air. We are recommending the TempMax™ be installed on International® school buses in front of the retrofit after treatment devices to assure the best available catalyst technology can be applied successfully."

Mr. David J. Johnson, ESW's President and CEO commented, "We are very excited to be launching the new TempMax™ exhaust tube with International as part of the Green Diesel Technology® product line. Having our roots grounded in the development and manufacture of high performance catalytic reduction technologies, we understand the tremendous importance of utilizing the maximum heat energy produced by the engine exhaust. TempMax™ demonstrates ESW's commitment to deliver our partners and customers diversified leading edge technologies."
