International Webcasting Association Teams With TV Worldwide for Worldwide Web Town Hall Meeting

Worldwide Interactive Webcast Event to Feature Industry Leaders at TV Worldwide's Internet TV Channel for the Streaming Industry, TV MainStream.com www.TVMainStream.com and www.webcasters.org 11AM ET, July 8, 2005

CHANTILLY, VA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- July 7, 2005 -- The International Webcasting Association (IWA) and TVWorldwide.com, a fast-growing web-based global TV network and streaming video service provider, announced a joint effort to produce the fifth in a series of annual web-based worldwide town meeting video webcasts for the webcasting industry. Dubbed the "State of the Industry in Webcasting 2005," the event will be webcast 11 AM ET on Friday, July 8, 2005 on TV Worldwide's Internet TV channel dedicated to the streaming media industry, TV MainStream, www.TVMainStream.com. The webcast will address the many advances in several industry sectors in a forum that features important issues in the streaming media and webcasting community, itself. Premier sponsors of the event include IWA members TV Worldwide, Intervox Communications, Shaw Pittman, and TV Mainstream channel sponsor Limelight Networks. The free webcast is open to both IWA members and non-members and the program will include a segment on the IWA itself, as the IWA positions itself to meet the expansion demands created by the continued rapid growth of the streaming media sector.

Leaders in the webcasting industry will candidly discuss subjects such as content delivery networks, content production and publishing considerations, and web conferencing and its enterprise integration with webcasting. The webcast will also address the broadband implications of the recent Supreme Court decision allowing cable companies to prevent rival Internet providers from using their lines along with other important legal Issues for webcasters. The free event will be produced at TV Worldwide's state-of-the-art Internet TV studios in Chantilly, Virginia, near Washington Dulles Airport.

Visitors to the live streaming video conference will be able to post questions to the panel and participate in Q&A via e-mail, providing a fully interactive forum for education, training, and sharing of information.

Kevin Shively, IWA Executive Director, and Dave Gardy, IWA President, will host the event. "We're excited to again be able to bring our industry together in a forum that showcases the benefits of webcasting," stated Shively. 11:40 AM: The Webcaster's Legal Perspective - David Oxenford will discuss legal issues of interest to webcasters. Issues such as the recent Supreme Court decision concerning cable companies and ISP access, advertising and programming matters which offer opportunities for internet broadcasters, and FCC proceedings that may expand the reach of wireless broadband systems, (making webcasts more universally available)...will be covered.
