Internationally Acclaimed Singer, Song Writer, Producer Chantal Chamandy to be First Artist in Newly Developed Music Retailing Concept

Ninemuse Entertainment Inc. Launches $1.00 CD Concept at Dollarama Stores

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 12, 2006) - Ninemuse Entertainment Inc., announced today that it has launched a product line of audio CD singles that will retail for $1.00 each. Ninemuse has built its marketing plan on the precedent that Apple iTunes has successfully established that the optimal price that music consumers are willing to pay for a song is $0.99.

The first artist to be a part of the innovative Ninemuse program is Montreal based, internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Chantal Chamandy. The first CD single of Chantal's to be released in Canada by Ninemuse is her hit song entitled Feels Like Love, which features former Gypsy King, Chico Castillo. Feels Like Love has just been released to radio in Canada to follow up its US release where it enjoyed Top 25 status all summer on Billboard's Adult Contemporary Radio Airplay Chart. The bonus track that Ninemuse is offering on this CD single is a dance remix of Feels Like Love by internationally renowned DJ and Canadian Dance Hall of Famer, MC Mario.

"Apple iTunes has successfully proven that $1.00 is the threshold that music consumers are willing to pay for a song," according to Nikki Planzer, spokesperson for Ninemuse. "We are taking the $0.99 digital download concept one step further. Not only will we offer our artists' music on a traditional CD, but we will also be offering a second song on each CD as a bonus track. We believe that by pricing our CD singles at the retail price of a digital download of $1.00, with beautiful packaging, presentation, and a free bonus track, our concept will be a great success. It is interesting to note that although digital sales are growing, they accounted for only 11% of the recorded music market sales worldwide(1)."

Ninemuse will be introducing its new program with Montreal based Dollarama LP Dollarama will be launching the program in 105 of its stores which are located in the Montreal and Toronto metropolitan areas at the beginning of December in order to capitalize on the Holiday selling season and with the intention of initiating a chain-wide rollout for 2007. The program will be supported by television, busboard and radio advertising.

Ninemuse will begin offering its $1.00 CD single program to all retailers across Canada for 2007. The company plans to offer its innovative concept to both traditional as well as non-traditional retailers of music. Ninemuse believes that its concept will also have great appeal as an impulse item so it plans to offer it to grocery stores, pharmacies, magazine stores, etc., as well as traditional record stores and mass merchants.
