Described by international media, as "the coolest, must-have artist on the planet," Todd White is taking the world by storm. His instantly recognizable work has been snapped up by Sharon Stone, Michael Douglas, Hugh Hefner, Vin Diesel and Eric McCormack to name a few. White's paintings are captivating, demanding a second look, often invoking humor or thoughts of familiar feelings and now captured in his first book, THE ART OF TODD WHITE (Aurora Fine Art, publishers). Initially available by pre-ordering through Liss Gallery this limited pressing of 850 books available North America wide will include two limited edition prints.

White started his career at Warner Bros. studios on the popular series Tiny Toons and soon after became part of the lead animation team for internationally renowned cartoon, SpongeBob SquarePantsWhile sharpening his eye in storyboarding, illustration and character design, White privately experimented with style and concept eventually arriving at a process which guides him through every piece. Until White can conceptually see the story in his head, he refuses to paint a single signature knuckle. "I actually name my pieces first and then visualize each face and its personality," explains White. "Then I develop each person's story. Whatever isn't necessary to the story isn't on my canvas. I don't waste a lot of time with backgrounds because they don't interest me. Instead I focus on what is essential."

In addition to THE ART OF TODD WHITE limited art book, beverage magnate Coca-Cola International contacted White to create six illustrations donning the bottles of Coca-Cola Light and featuring his distinctive box signature. This marks the first time that Coke has collaborated with a fine artist to produce artwork for its label and given that artist credit directly on the product. "The opportunity to work on this project with Coca-Cola was exciting. It has inspired scores of artists, from Andy Warhol and Keith Haring to Norman Rockwell and everyone in between. Any marriage between art and the corporate world is precarious at best, but in this case, I think we achieved something that invokes thoughts of joy, romance, laughter, and intimacy – feelings that, like art itself, the world could use a little more of."
