Internet Video Platform Leader PermissionTV Expands Management Team

New Senior Hires Help Continue Company's Expansion of Client Base and Technology Services in Rapidly Growing Internet Video Industry

WALTHAM, MA--(Marketwire - August 9, 2007) - PermissionTV, a leading interactive Internet video technology platform provider, today announced three new members of the company's management team, appointing Cyndi Wisniewski-Gonyea as Vice President of Global Sales; Kathy Ruggiero as Vice President of Marketing and Joe Eldridge as Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Respected industry veterans, Gonyea, Ruggiero and Eldridge bring more than five decades of combined experience in the technology, advertising and media industries to PermissionTV and its client base.

As Vice President of Global Sales, Wisniewski-Gonyea is charged with growing the sales and support infrastructure for PermissionTV, as well as utilizing channel relationships to maximize opportunities with corporations, agencies, media companies and public interest organizations. Prior to joining the company, Wisniewski-Gonyea spent seven years at DoubleClick Inc. (recently acquired by Google), where she was consistently recognized as the highest achieving sales executive in the company. In addition, Wisniewski-Gonyea has held numerous strategic management positions, helping initiate and sustain revenue opportunities for leading companies in the technology and media industries including Softbank, ZDNet, Rational Systems, NCR and Monster Worldwide.

Previously, Wisniewski-Gonyea was the founder and president of a private investment company, Woodbridge Asset Management. Additionally, she was founder and president of The KomfyKid Company, a company specializing in the creation, development and distribution of children's products for the pre-school marketplace.

Wisniewski-Gonyea earned a bachelor's degree in marketing management from Boston College.

As Vice President of Marketing, Ruggiero is responsible for driving the marketing strategy and execution for building and growing the brand, cultivating thought leadership and providing sales support and demand creation for the company. Prior to joining PermissionTV, she was Vice President of Corporate Marketing at IONA Technologies, where she led a worldwide team responsible for all facets of corporate communications, demand creation and branding.

Prior to IONA, Ruggiero was Vice President of Corporate Marketing for EasyAsk, a search technology provider, where she built and managed the company's marketing organization, and was a member of the executive team responsible for its successful sale to Progress Software Corporation. Ruggiero also led the corporate marketing efforts at Veridiem, a marketing performance management company, and led corporate marketing at Oberon Software.

Ruggiero began her career in advertising, where she held a number of management positions in media strategy and planning for both consumer and technology accounts.

Ruggiero earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Boston College.

As Vice President of Engineering and CTO, Eldridge is responsible for overseeing technology development efforts, and expanding the company's technology strategy. Eldridge brings more than 15 years' experience designing and delivering integrated software and technology infrastructure solutions and has worked in a variety of industries including financial services, insurance, telecommunications and manufacturing.

Most recently, Eldridge served as COO at, where he managed offices worldwide. In addition, he held senior technology management positions at the company, including technical director, portal practice lead and head of technology for the London and Amsterdam offices. Previously, he spent several years developing software solutions and managing IT systems and resources for the biotechnology industry.

Eldridge received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and a master's degree in biochemical engineering from Tufts University.
