InterRent REIT Announces Commencement of Trading on the TSX

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - April 23, 2007) -

InterRent Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX VENTURE:IIP.UN) ("InterRent") is pleased to announce that its units will commence trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) on the opening of the market on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 under its current trading symbol "IIP.UN". In conjunction with its move to the TSX, InterRent's units will be de-listed from, and cease trading on, the TSX Venture Exchange.
