Intertainment Begins Beta Trials of Advertising Based Video, VoIP Platform

Free to consumer communications suite to integrate with major social networks

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 11, 2007) - Intertainment Media Inc. ("Intertainment" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:INT) is pleased to announce that it is beginning the beta trials of its FrankenTalk advertising based video, and voice communications platform for the computer desktop. In addition to desktop local and long distance calling, this program will be integrated with major social networks to allow consumers to leave voice messages and communicate by voice while engaged in popular social network activities.

Together with Intertainment's private label model, branded for large companies, FrankenTalk ( is positioned to the young adult market that uses social networks. The Company, in its first month of pre-launch sign ups, already has a number of major social network user groups on board that reach in excess of 20,000 users. Users can invite their friends to use the application, at no cost, allowing the program to be spread virally. Revenue will be derived from major advertising and promotional programs tied to the desktop application. The Company already has significant interest from advertising agencies and online networks.

Announced in early November, the technology is ready ahead of schedule for initial voice communications testing. Selected beta testers will receive the ability to watch video, see select advertising and make free local and long distance calling right from their desktop. The product has already been tested in North America, South America, the UK and Europe. The Company has also installed a number of private label test versions with select client groups.

Advertisers and sponsors can elect to provide banner and video ads, voice mail ads and allow users to increase free calling minutes and other services by completing various actions including making a purchase, completing a survey, or referring the program to other friends.

The FrankenTalk video player will display content from various sources including popular content from Eye Rock, Intertainment's online video platform with over 140 million video views in 2007.

"We are excited to be ahead of schedule with the beta trials of the FrankenTalk communications platform. The ability to combine on computer voice communications, video and traditional advertising opens up a significant amount of opportunities to garner revenue from voice traffic on the Internet and through social networks. Advertisers are looking for ways to focus on groups based on behavioral and target demographics. This program continues to confirm our focus on developing content distribution, traffic services and advertising programs," said Mr. David Lucatch, CEO of Intertainment Media Inc.
