Intertainment Media Announces the Appointment of Two New Directors

NEW YORK, NEW YORK and LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA and SAN MATEO, CALIFORNIA and TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 19, 2011) - Intertainment Media Inc. ("Intertainment" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:INT)(OTCQX:ITMTF)(FRANKFURT:I4T) is pleased to announce the appointments of Mr. D. Gregory Hall and Mr. Jeffrey D. Puritt to the Board of Directors of Intertainment Media Inc. Mr. Hall and Mr. Puritt both bring significant public market experience to the company.

Gregory Hall brings over 30 years of experience in the capital market sector, which includes posts as Director of SilverCorp Metals Inc., which is listed on the NYSE and TSX and is considered China's largest primary silver producer, Director of Haywood Securities Inc., Vice President of Canaccord Capital Corporation and Senior Vice President of Leede Financial Markets Inc. Mr. Hall is a graduate of Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, SME Enterprise Board Program and is a Member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Jeffrey Puritt is currently President and Chairman of the Board of TELUS International and brings a wealth of international experience in communications and technology sectors including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, strategic planning, corporate reorganizations and asset and contract management. Prior to TELUS, Mr. Puritt served as Vice President, Corporate Development and General Counsel at Daedalian eSolutions where he was responsible for leading Daedalian's go-public transaction and then directed the sale of Daedalian to TELUS. Mr. Puritt is a graduate of York University, has his Law degree from Osgoode Hall and is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
