Introducing PicuP -- A Free and Powerful Telephony Service

Advanced Feature Set and Extreme Flexibility Make PicuP an Ideal Solution for Start-Ups and Small Businesses

NEWARK, NJ--(Marketwired - July 20, 2016) - Net2Phone, a provider of cloud-based telecommunications services for businesses, today announced the open beta launch of PicuP (, an innovative and easy-to-use telephony solution for start-ups and small businesses. PicuP does not require new hardware, has no set up costs, and provides 100 minutes free per month with no credit card required. Then, as your business grows, PicuP will grow with it.

"Entrepreneurs and small business owners have a lot on their plate. The more time and money they spend on their phone system, the less they have available to focus on their core business," said Zali Ritholtz, Net2Phone's Chief Operating Officer.

"We designed PicuP to be intuitive to set up, and to provide all the features that start-ups and small businesses need to handle their calls. PicuP delivers the 'look and feel' of a Fortune 500 company to small businesses, providing them with features such as a virtual-receptionist, departments, hunt groups, unlimited extensions, and more, all delivered to their existing land lines or mobile phones," Ritholtz added.

PicuP provides the following FREE services:

  • A dedicated phone number for any business -- choose an area code and phone number and start taking calls anywhere without having to give out your personal number;
  • Unlimited extensions and departments -- add an unlimited number of users and route every call to the right person;
  • Customizable welcome greeting -- the ability to record your own greeting or use PicuP's text-to-speech technology;
  • Call announcement feature -- allows you to differentiate between business and personal calls;
  • Voicemail-to-email -- ensures that you receive your voicemail messages anywhere;
  • The PicuP dashboard -- manage settings and see your call history from anywhere.

During the open beta period, PicuP customers will receive 1,000 minutes free per month. Thereafter, all PicuP users will receive 100 minutes free per month. PicuP will also offer the ability to upgrade to a variety of paid plans which include enhanced features, a mobile app and more minutes.

"We are extremely excited to introduce PicuP," said Jonah Fink, President of Net2Phone. "PicuP provides entrepreneurs, start-ups, and small businesses with many of the capabilities of large communications systems without the investment of time or money. PicuP is designed to help small enterprises stay focused on their business so they can grow and prosper."
