Government of Canada supports the SweetWater Music Festival


HOLLAND CENTRE, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - March 24, 2015) - Department of Canadian Heritage

The Government of Canada is providing $10,000 through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund to support the 12th annual SweetWater Music Festival. The three-day classical music festival will feature performances by professional artists from across Canada and abroad.

Larry Miller, Member of Parliament (Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound), made this announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

Quick Facts

  • The SweetWater Music Festival will take place from September 18 to 20, 2015, in Leith and Owen Sound.
  • Concerts will take place at the Georgian Shores United Church and the Historic Leith Church.
  • The Festival will also present outreach and audience development activities including school visits, master classes, artist talks and photography exhibits.
