IODA and Brazil's Tratore Partner for International Independent Music Distribution

Agreement Opens Brazilian Market to IODA's Labels and Artists, Gives Brazil's Largest Independent Distributor Access to IODA's Broad Digital Retail Network

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - September 15, 2009) - IODA, one of the leading distributors of independent music and film, announced a partnership today with leading Brazilian distributor Tratore. In this agreement, IODA's catalog of independent music will reach the burgeoning Brazilian market via Tratore's network of mobile and download stores, while IODA will provide access for Tratore clients to more than 400 digital retail outlets, mobile retailers and subscription services around the world.

Founded in 2002, Tratore is Brazil's biggest independent distributor with a catalog of over 1400 exclusive releases that reflects the rich history of music in the territory, as well as new releases from progressive contemporary artists. Marquee names like Carlinhos Brown, Elza Soares, Arrigo Barnabe, Alceu Valenca and Tom Ze complement new releases from Cidadao Instigado, Pato Fu, André Mehmari, Delicatessen along with titles from smaller imprints that reflect Brazil's diverse regional music.
