PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwired - Dec 15, 2014) - iovation, the trusted source for mobile and online fraud prevention, today announced it is hosting its 2nd Annual European User Group meeting on Feb. 2, 2015 at The Tower hotel in London, England. The event provides virtual crime fighters an in-person way to connect, collaborate and share about the best ways to prevent desktop and mobile online fraud while improving the customer experience.

"At iovation, we're witnessing a mobile explosion, which represents unique challenges to online fraud prevention," said Molly O'Hearn, Vice President of Operations at iovation. "In the European retail industry alone, it's expected that over 2 billion users will conduct transactions from mobile phones and tablets by 2017, up from 1.6 billion this year1. With this shift comes new threats, and we're excited to assemble Europe's fraud experts to exchange information about how they've been able to protect their business and customers from the new risks that have accompanied this device proliferation."

The iovation European User Group is exclusively available to iovation customers. The event will feature speakers from notable European companies like Carphone Warehouse and MYJAR who will share strategies on fighting online fraud.

"Last year's European User Group was a very informative event. It allowed clients to engage directly with iovation as well as with clients in other industries," said Tony Dempsey, Fraud Analyst at "Also, all of their new product features were explained in detail to ensure that users maximize the benefits of the service. I would highly recommend attending."

At the user group, iovation will lead discussions about its TrustScore service and recently upgraded Mobile Software Development Kit (SDK). Leveraging the world's largest device reputation database, TrustScore identifies website visitors who are most likely to be trustworthy. This helps to reduce operational expense, accelerate revenue and improve the online experience of trusted customers.
