iPass Mobile Network Grows to Over 580,000 Wi-Fi Hotspots Globally

REDWOOD SHORES, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 7, 2011) - iPass Inc. (NASDAQ: IPAS), a leading provider of mobility services for both enterprises and service providers, today announced that it has expanded the iPass Mobile Network in South Korea through its partnership with SK Telecom, the leading wireless telecom operator in South Korea. With the addition of 51,000 Wi-Fi hotspots, enterprise mobile employees and roaming service provider partners now have access to more than 580,000 Wi-Fi venues worldwide.

"South Korea has long been a leader when it comes to mobile broadband," said SK Telecom's Senior Vice President and Head of Customer Marketing Office, Kim Sun Jung.
