IPEVO Kicks Off 'Record Your Resolution' Contest

Partners With to Help Consumers Share New Year's Resolutions

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - December 22, 2008) - IPEVO, a designer of communication and collaboration devices, and today launched the 'Record Your Resolution' contest. The contest is an effort to challenge consumers to think beyond conventional resolutions and communicate ideas that have a larger impact on society.

"It is pretty typical to hear about how people want to lose weight, get out of debt or connect more often with friends and family," said Ed Lucero, vice president and general manager, North America, for IPEVO. "While those are all great resolutions, we are looking for people to think bigger and commit to resolutions that could make a difference in our world today."

Using, visitors will have the chance to record a New Year's resolution online in twelve seconds. The contest will begin on December 22 at 8am ET and end on December 26 at 12am ET. A panel of judges, including Jeff Pulver from and the Jeff Pulver blog, as well as David Beach and Sol Lipman from will then select seven winners. The grand prize winner will receive two IPEVO USB PointerCams, 2nd place will win an IPEVO TR-10 speakerphone and the next five selected will win 2009 MacWorld exhibit passes.
