Proven Irdeto Mobile Broadcast Solution Provides DVB Simulcrypt-Compliant Solution to Customers of Leading Mobile TV Headend Provider

AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 27, 2007 -- Irdeto, the proven expert in content security for digital TV, IPTV and mobile, together with RRD, a leading DVB-H solutions provider, today announced the successful integration of the Irdeto Mobile Broadcast conditional access (CA) solution with RRD's DVB-H headend. The two companies have also demonstrated a full DVB Simulcrypt solution running over the same platform. This combined solution enables mobile operators and other players in the rapidly growing mobile broadcast industry to quickly deploy a proven, secure and scalable solution for a cost-effective rollout of their services.
