Iron and Wine Announce New Tour Dates From Sasquatch to Bonnaroo in Support of New Album, Kiss Each Other Clean

Album Debuted at #2 on Billboard Top 200 Chart

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - February 24, 2011) - Iron and Wine announced new U.S. tour dates today on the band's website -- -- in support of their new album, Kiss Each Other Clean, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Charts upon its release January 25th, 2011. Following the previously announced April tour, the new shows will run from May 28th at Sasquatch Music Festival in George, WA through to Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, TN in June. Tickets for these new headlining dates, supported by openers The Head and The Heart on select dates, go on sale to the public March 4th and 5th. 

Iron and Wine, who will be performing with a full band on their headlining tour, just wrapped up a sold-out European tour after performing a series of special sold out release shows in NY and LA in January. The LA Times praised frontman Sam Beam, calling him an "excellent bandleader," while the NY Post noted the band is "on the cusp of greatness, ready to take its place among musical elite present and past." 

Kiss Each Other Clean contains 10 tracks, along with the single "Tree By The River." The band's fourth studio album and highest debut was released to much critical praise including a 9 out of 10 rating in Spin and 3.5 out of 4 stars in the LA Times, while Blurt called the album "A confident, beautiful masterpiece" and Associated Press noted that Kiss Each Other Clean is "unexpected and beautiful" and captures "Sam Beam at the height of his artistic powers."
