Irving A. Backman Addresses Northeastern University's First Energy Conference on an Advanced Sustainability Technology for Solving the Global Warming Crisis and Making Massachusetts the New Energy Capital of the World

DEDHAM, MA--(Marketwired - Nov 2, 2015) -  Irving A. Backman, internationally renowned benefactor of sustainability and advanced technology initiatives and leader of the DATT Group (Developers of Advanced Technology Today), presented his unique perspective on an advanced technology aimed at solving the Global Warming crisis that we all face at Northeastern University's First Energy Conference, October 30, 2015.

Mr. Backman also discussed new approaches to manufacturing energy that could make Massachusetts the world capital of new energy resources.

Northeastern University's student-run Energy Systems Society (NU-ESS), under the guidance of Professor Gregory Kowalski, organized the conference to address current and future issues in clean power, energy efficiency and energy policy in an interdisciplinary environment. Mr. Backman joined staff and faculty from neighboring universities and colleges, government representatives and industry experts. He also reviewed the Sustainability and Environmental Program to help mend the Earth that he recently established exclusively for Northeastern University.

According to Mr. Backman, "We have completed and filed provisional patent applications on our new Energy Bank, an, innovative technological solution, now in prototype completion. This enables mass-production of clean, 'green' energy without fossil fuels, precious metals, or toxic chemicals, on an assembly-line basis just like manufacturing shoes and with zero Energy Bank emissions to the atmosphere. Any quantity of energy with less weight and size will cost far less than any other source and reduce monthly maintenance and operational expenses. We anticipate that this technology is so revolutionary it will have a major impact on all other forms of energy generation and most importantly, it will also include the needed unlimited energy storage capacity which to date no other energy generation source can accomplish."

Mr. Backman added, "The rapidly growing demands to improve sustainability and saving the environment are opportunities for Northeastern students to become a leading pioneer with realistic answers on how to reduce Global Warming and climate change in the next three to five years, rather than a seemingly unsolvable problem at this time. The University is an excellent position to lead Massachusetts becoming the energy capital of the world."
