Isabella County Joins MITN Purchasing Group

MT. PLEASANT, MI--(Marketwired - April 23, 2015) - Isabella County announced its joining of the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) Purchasing Group, a BidNet e-procurement system that gives vendors instant access to Bids, RFPs, Quotes and Amendments.

Powered by BidNet's national e-procurement solution, MITN connects 1,559 departments from 145 local government agencies and provides a bid notification system for vendors looking to do business with local governments. Isabella County is joining the MITN Purchasing Group, providing its vendors with convenient access to bid information for Isabella County and all other participating government agencies on the system. In addition to the MITN Purchasing Group, BidNet's e-procurement solution manages purchasing groups and bid systems throughout the country providing over 1,000 organizations a purchasing and vendor management solution.

The Basic Service is free for vendors. Isabella County will also continue to list bids, proposals and/or quotes on our website in addition to MITN.

About Isabella County:

Isabella County is located in north central Michigan with a population of seventy thousand three hundred eleven (70,311) and an annual average of two hundred eighty-five (285) persons on payroll. Isabella County is comprised of sixteen (16) townships, three (3) villages, and two (2) cities. The County is largely rural with the distinction of a varied economy. Central Michigan University is located in the largest municipality, City of Mount Pleasant, and is home to over twenty-seven thousand (27,000) students.
