ISCEBS Elects Haraden President of Boston Chapter


BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - December 14, 2010) - Patrick J. Haraden, a principal of Longfellow Benefits, was elected president of the Greater Boston Chapter of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists at its annual meeting.

ISCEBS is a nonprofit educational association whose primary mission is to provide continuing education opportunities to individuals holding the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation.

Haraden has 20 years of experience in employee benefits. A widely published author in leading industry and business publications, he is a CEBS, Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC), Registered Health Underwriter (RHU), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and has a master's degree in business administration (MBA) in taxation. A resident of Norwell, Mass., he has taught courses on employee benefits.

Membership in ISCEBS is composed of those who have earned the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Compensation Management Specialist (CMS), Group Benefits Associate (GBA) and Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) designations awarded by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in the United States and Dalhousie University in Canada.
