ISE Corp Gasoline Hybrid-Electric Customer Reaches 10 Million Miles in Revenue Service -- and Reduces Harmful Emissions

America's Largest Transit Fleet of ISE Gasoline Hybrid-Electric Buses, Operated by Long Beach Transit in California, Has Reduced Tons of Harmful Carbon Emissions Over the Past 5 Years

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - December 21, 2009) - California-based ISE Corporation announced today that one of its earliest customers, Long Beach Transit (LBT), has reached 10 million miles in revenue service with their fleet of 40' gasoline hybrid-electric buses powered by ISE's hybrid-electric technology. Using ISE's Ultracapacitor energy storage packs, the gasoline hybrid systems make up the majority of LBT's bus fleet. Since 2001, ISE has continued strengthening its proven track record with nearly 300 gasoline hybrid-electric buses worldwide with a total accumulation of approximately 13 million operational miles.

Gasoline Hybrid-Electric Technology Reduces Carbon Emissions and Improves Operational Efficiencies

In addition, gasoline is a cleaner burning fuel with lower tailpipe emissions -- as evidenced by the fact that one gallon of gasoline burned emits 13% (2.9 lbs) less CO2 than one gallon of diesel.
