iSIGN Announces its First Data Sale

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Nov. 27, 2013) - iSIGN Media Solutions Inc. ("iSIGN" or "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ISD) (OTCQX:ISDSF), a leading provider of interactive mobile advertising solutions that serves advertisers, manufacturers, retailers and advertising agencies throughout North America, is pleased to announce that it has signed a one-year contract for the delivery of 2.5 million insights to a software company located in India, in the amount of $500,000.

Negotiations for this data sale commenced in early October and concluded in mid-November. The agreement requires iSIGN to deliver an initial 250,000 insights to Newcomp Analytics ("Newcomp") in Richmond Hill, Ontario on behalf of the purchaser for analysis, interpretation and evaluation purposes upon receipt of the required initial payment of $50,000, which will be delivered on December 4, 2013.

It is expected that Newcomp's analytics will result in enriched insights that will enable the purchaser to resell the final insights at a price of $0.60 to $0.80 per insight. This increase in valuation will benefit iSIGN in that future data sales can be enhanced value priced to the market.

Newcomp, an IBM/COGNOS partner, recently partnered with iSIGN to provide an evaluation process for the data that iSIGN's various network installations gather and potentially combine iSIGN's data with data already supplied to Newcomp from other sources. iSIGN estimates that its pricing will eventually be between $0.20 to as much as a $1.40 per insight. By adding loyalty program customer insights to this equation, data values could rise to as much as $3 or $4 per insight.

iSIGN considers its data as being "clean data", meaning that while the Company is collecting information including, but not limited to, shopper product and brand, offer preferences as well as final purchases, no personal shopper information is being gathered that could identify individual shoppers in any way.

"The quantity of data being gathered is increasing due to expanding our Smart Antenna networks in both the United States and Canada," said Mr. Alex Romanov, Chief Executive Officer of iSIGN. "We already have a sizable inventory of data that is growing by approximately one terabyte every four days. Our expectation is that with the ongoing expansion of our existing footprints combined with new footprints in both the United States and Canada, we will eventually increase our data gathering to one terabyte per day in 2014. We will be working closely with our auditors to determine a proper valuation of our data inventory to recognize and record its book value."
