iSirona Appoints Chief Nursing Officer in Support of Continued Growth

PANAMA CITY, FL--(Marketwire - Jan 31, 2012) - iSirona®, a provider of simplified solutions for medical device integration, today announced that Mary Carr, RN, BSN, CPN, has been promoted to the position of Chief Nursing Officer. She will lead and strengthen the company's deep understanding of the complexities and demands of clinical workflow in today's healthcare facilities.

Carr's career spans 15 years in healthcare, which has included clinical workflow analysis, process improvement, healthcare information technology design and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining iSirona, she worked at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, where she helped the organization achieve recognition as the first HIMSS Stage 7 pediatric hospital in the nation. She is a pediatric-certified registered nurse with neurosurgery, orthopedics, trauma and critical care experience and has served as a clinical analyst for iSirona since 2008.

"iSirona is focused on freeing clinicians from the burden of getting device data into the patient record. That lets clinicians focus on what they are there for: delivering patient care and high-quality outcomes," says iSirona CEO Dave Dyell. "Mary's clinical knowledge and experience make her the perfect person to ensure that iSirona continues delivering not just leading technology, but a powerful, effective clinical solution."
