Managing 20,000 remote computers from one place: ISL Light combines ease of use required by consumers, with administrative management capabilities required by IT. Empowered user management and a new grouping feature allow for a better remote access experience and make the lives of IT specialists easier.

Restart and resume Mac computers: The restart and resume feature, which has long been available for Windows users, is now also working with Mac computers. Installation and updates on remote systems usually require a technician to reboot the remote computer during a remote access session. The new feature lets a technician reboot a remote Mac computer and then automatically reconnect to the same session without interruption and adds a big productivity bonus for those working with remote Macs.

Additional features and improvements in ISL Light 4.1 include:

  • Toolbar optimisation for more efficient remote support
  • Keyboard icon for sending shortcuts (Ctrl+Alt+Del, Windows+L, etc) added to a toolbar
  • Optimised chat window
  • Security updates (newly implemented mbed TLS security library)

ISL Light is immediately available for Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS devices. The described feature set may vary on the mobile operating system. The new ISL Light 4.1 is free of charge for existing ISL Online users. SaaS users will get the latest remote support tool automatically. However, if a user has the program saved to his/her desktop, it is recommended to download the new ISL Light 4.1 from ISL Online website and replace it with the old one.
