Island Clean Air Inc.: ICA Introduces the GermPRO-Medtrade 07-Orlando-Booth #444

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 6, 2007) - The GermPRO units by ICA (Island Clean Air Inc.) are truly effective mobile enzymic air filtration systems, designed to effectively "Trap and Kill" airborne microbes, viruses, bacteria and fungi in small to medium sized rooms. The GermPRO has been tested at the University of British Columbia and has been proven to reduce colonies of bacteria and viruses by up to 90% in a four hour period.

In a closed community such as a care home or clinic, controlling airborne microbial infections and disease is a major problem. Conventional HEPA filters in an HVAC system do not eliminate secondary contamination of filtered air, and within a short period of time become a breeding ground for further infection.

The GermPRO employs Lytic enzyme filters which effectively "kill" viruses and bacteria on contact with the surface of the filter, through enzymic hydolysis of the cell walls. The lytic enzymes target gram positive airborne bacteria including SARS, H5N1 and MRSA. Real purified air is then circulated.

Key benefits of a GermPRO are:

- Effective elimination of airborne microbial infection

- Mobility

- Low cost

- Quiet operation

- Long Lasting Filters (2 year service life)

ICA is based in Vancouver, B.C., and since 1992 has manufactured the "Duster" range of industrial mobile air filtration units.
