ISR Opens New Office in Silicon Valley

New Center to Support Company's Growth

LIBERTY LAKE, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 7, 2006 -- ISR, the maker of SprayCool™ technology and products, today announced that it has opened its Silicon Valley Systems Center in Mountain View, Calif., to support the company's overall growth strategy by bringing thermal and systems management solutions to large-scale users of blade servers and related computer and network systems.

The new center, located at 2637 Marine Way, includes a technology development and system test laboratory, a product showcase featuring displays and demonstrations of SprayCool technology, and various sales and marketing offices.

The new Silicon Valley Systems Center is led by Dr. Rick Lytel, managing director of the center, and Dr. Howard Davidson, formerly a distinguished engineer at Sun Microsystems and an internationally recognized expert in thermal management, electronic packaging, and computer hardware.

"Silicon Valley is a major center for advanced technologies, which makes it the perfect location to help us address our mission of enabling the next generation of electronics," said Charles Tilton, vice president and chief technology officer for ISR. "We must continue to grow our research and development capabilities in order to meet these objectives, and this new center is another step in that direction."

"Customers are clamoring for solutions to their power and heat problems which are scaling out of control," Lytel said. "Our technology will provide system designers with integrated solutions to allow them to increase processing density while reducing data center heat and power loads."

ISR launched a commercial division in 2005 to utilize its SprayCool technology to address thermal issues in high performance commercial electronics. SprayCool technology uses liquid evaporation, or phase change of dielectric fluid to cool electronics, which provides revolutionary improvements in performance over existing cooling technology, enabling greater capabilities in electronics design. Data center operators, for example, see a three-fold improvement in computing power after the installation of systems that use SprayCool technology.

ISR is headquartered in Liberty Lake, Wash. Of the company's 250-plus employees, nearly 200 are located in two offices in Liberty Lake. In addition to the new Mountain View office, ISR also maintains satellite offices in Seattle, Pullman, Wash., Washington D.C. and Wichita, Kan.
