ISSYS Launches New Inline Density & Chemical Concentration Meter

YPSILANTI, MI -- (MARKET WIRE) -- July 11, 2006 -- Integrated Sensing Systems, Inc. (ISSYS) announced that it is launching a new inline densitometer, the model 106. This new product replaces the three-year old model 203, offering a wider range of flow rates by incorporating a bypass design. Density, specific gravity, temperature and chemical concentrations like methanol and water (DMFC) or ethanol and gasoline (flex-fuel) can all be measured with the new meter.

Dr. Douglas Sparks, ISSYS Executive Vice President, stated that, "The model 106 density meter offers higher flow rate capability that we were able to accommodate with earlier models. Since the sensing element is MEMS-based (MicroElectroMechanical Systems), it can do so at a lower cost and smaller size than the competition. This sensor will open up applications in fuel cells, flex-fuel, beverages, petrochemicals and pharmaceutical markets."
