iStor Networks Presents the integraStor Family of iSCSI Solutions at Microsoft Server 2008 Launch in Los Angeles

integraStor Responds to Storage Buyers Needs With Affordable, Enterprise-Level Features

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - February 26, 2008) - iStor Networks, Inc.®, a leader in high performance iSCSI solutions, today extends its value and performance propositions with increased availability of its integraStor™ family of products. The integraStor storage solutions will be exhibited in Los Angeles at the much anticipated Heroes Happen Here, Microsoft Server 2008 Launch on February 27th, of which iStor is a sponsor.

"All of the products in the integraStor family leverage iStor's unique intellectual property and technology that have been critical to the success of the iS325, and extends them to address a much wider set of environments," said Kevin Daly, CEO of iStor Networks. "The integraStor family of products can now address the full range of SMB environments as well as distributed data centers, remote office/branch office and other demanding environments. Customers implementing iSCSI-based storage area networks have found that integraStor delivers a compelling return on their storage investment."

The integraStor family was specifically designed to provide simple-to-use, yet cost-effective storage for a broad range of business environments. These storage systems complement the storage features of Server 2008, including Boot from SAN as well as important storage applications such as Microsoft's Data Protection Manger (DPM), Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS), and Distributed File System (DFS). integraStor is ideal for applications like Exchange which are supporting expanded mailbox sizes and which can benefit substantially from the accelerated performance that the integraStor can deliver in a 10GbE environment. Scaling from single boxes to multi-chassis 36 TB array solutions, integraStor solutions support snapshot, continuous data protection (CDP) and high availability (HA) capabilities.

The newest member of the integraStor family, the iS512, is a scalable storage solution built upon iStor's flagship 10 million-gate iSCSI Storage Processor and intelligent storage virtualization stack with up to 4GB of data cache per controller. These systems support either 8 ports of GbE iSCSI or 1 port of 10GbE iSCSI, both SAS & SATA drives and multi-chassis expansion. integraStor is available in both single-controller and dual-controller, HA-ready, configurations and will provide automated controller failover later in the year.

"Microsoft is pleased to be working with iStor Networks to expand the offerings for Windows Server 2008 customers," said Ward Ralston, Group Technical Product Manager for Windows Server Marketing at Microsoft Corp. "Our industry partners play an essential role in ensuring that our customers have the best technology foundation available and the integraStor product family, iStor's flagship product helps deliver valuable new functionality to our joint customers."

iStor will also demonstrate new software enhancements that add the latest in data protection and ease of management to iStor's existing fully featured management interface and superior iSCSI performance.

Heroes Happen Here, Microsoft Server 2008 Launch, takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, CA on February 27th, 2008. The iStor exhibit and demo will be located at booth 82.
