IT Community Recognizes SolarWinds IT Management Software Products With Top Industry Honors

The 2013 Windows IT Pro Community Choice Awards, announced in November, feature products that were nominated and voted on by the publication's readers. SolarWinds is honored with awards in the following categories:

  • Best Network Management Product: SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM) won Community Choice Silver
  • Best Systems Monitoring Product: SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor (SAM) won Community Choice Silver
  • Best Patch Management Product: SolarWinds Patch Manager won Community Choice Silver

The Windows IT Pro community also recognized Confio, part of the SolarWinds family, in their SQL Server Community Choice Awards. Ignite for SQL Server won silver for Best Database Monitoring & Performance Product, Ignite Free won bronze for Best Free Tool, and the Confio team won silver for Best Vendor Support.

In addition, the TechGenix community recently named three SolarWinds solutions as second runners-up in their Readers' Choice Awards: SolarWinds NPM for Network Administration Tool and SolarWinds Network Topology Mapper (NTM) for Network Inventory on Windows Networking, and SolarWinds SAM for Exchange Server Administration on, all of which were voted on by IT pros in the websites' monthly polls of preferred products.

Government Security News named SolarWinds Log & Event Manager (LEM) a finalist in Best Security Incident/Event Management (SIEM) product for their Homeland Security Awards, evaluated for their technological innovation, flexibility, impact on maintaining a client organization's security, and filling a recognized government IT security need.

Finally, SC Magazine has announced the finalists for its Reader Trust Awards. Readers voted SolarWinds Network Configuration Manager (NCM) a finalist for Best Risk/Policy Management Solution and SolarWinds LEM a finalist for Best SIEM Solution. The winners of these awards will be announced in February 2014.
