IT Service Pioneer Mark Crall Joins Autotask to Expand User Community and Forge Added Strategic Partnerships

Industry's Best IT Business Management Platform Forms Business Unit to Expand Autotask's IT Service Partnerships and Alliances, Promotes Sherman

EAST GREENBUSH, NY--(Marketwire - September 30, 2009) - Autotask Corporation today announced IT services pioneer and innovator, Mark Crall, has joined the company as executive director of community and business development to be a catalyst for the growth of Autotask's IT Business Management Platform.

In his new role, Crall will lead the expansion efforts for Autotask's 30,000 strong and growing user community, forge new industry partnerships, and strengthen Autotask's tie into the broader IT Services community as part of a new business unit that reports directly to Autotask CEO Bob Godgart.

In his new role, Crall will continue to serve as an evangelist for Autotask's community of users who regularly exchange ideas, best practices and use Autotask as a business development resource. As the former CEO of managed service firm, Charlotte Tech Care Team and 10-year IT veteran, Crall is driven by a passion for technology and affinity for small business owners. He is also the founder of the Charlotte Small Business Server Group and a subject matter expert for Microsoft Partner Talent and Development, producing exam and certification content.

Joining Crall in the new business development unit is Brian Sherman, who has been promoted to senior director of industry alliances. Sherman brings his extensive knowledge of the IT industry as a former trade publication editor, and will continue to serve as the primary contact for strategic industry relationships.
